COOKIES POLICY

Last updated : 24/08/2026

This Cookie Policy explains how MY PILOT COLLECTION (“MPC”) uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies when you visit www.mypilotcollection.com (the “Website”).

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how MPC processes personal data.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on or accessed from your device when you use a website.

MPC and its service providers may also use similar technologies, including pixels, tags, local storage and server-side event technologies. Together, these are referred to in this Policy as “Cookies”.

They may be used to operate and secure the Website, remember preferences, analyse Website use, measure advertising performance and, where permitted, personalise content or advertising.

2. Who is responsible?

For processing for which MPC determines the purposes and means, the data controller is:

Léa CRUSEL, individual entrepreneur, trading as MY PILOT COLLECTION (“MPC”)

Certain third-party providers identified below may also process information under their own privacy policies and, depending on the service concerned, may act as processors, joint controllers or independent controllers.

3. Categories of Cookies we use

MPC currently uses the following categories:

  • Required : Operation and security of the Website, shopping cart, checkout, customer account, authentication, payment, fraud prevention and storage of privacy choices > Consent not required where strictly necessary.

  • Personalization : Remembering choices and adapting certain Website or Shopify experiences > Consent required where applicable.

  • Analytics : Understanding Website traffic, interactions and performance and measuring customer journeys > Consent required where applicable.

  • Marketing : Measuring advertising, conversions and campaign performance and, where authorised, creating audiences or personalising advertising > Consent required where applicable.

Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user may be used without consent. Other Cookies requiring consent are not intended to be activated until the required permission has been obtained. This reflects the French rules applicable to cookies and other trackers.

4. Services and providers currently used

The Website is operated through Shopify.

Depending on your choices, MPC currently uses technologies provided by:

  • Shopify : Website operation, security, customer accounts, analytics, personalisation and Shopify commerce services;

  • Google & YouTube : Website analytics, advertising measurement and conversion tracking;

  • Meta / Facebook & Instagram : advertising measurement, conversion tracking and audience optimisation;

  • Pinterest : advertising measurement, conversion tracking and audience optimisation.

These integrations may use both browser-based pixels and server-side event technologies.

MPC’s current Shopify configuration requires the relevant Marketing and/or Analytics permission before its Google, Meta and Pinterest app pixels collect data for those purposes where consent is required.

The providers may modify the precise names and technical characteristics of their Cookies over time. Their current cookie and privacy documentation provides more detailed technical information.

5. Shopify Network Intelligence

MPC currently uses Shopify Network Intelligence.

Where enabled, Shopify may use information relating to interactions with this Website together with information relating to interactions with Shopify or other Shopify merchants to provide enhanced services such as personalisation, analytics, fraud prevention, advertising measurement and marketing optimisation.

Where consent is required, including for relevant advertising uses in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, these uses are subject to the choices made through Shopify’s Customer Privacy tools.

Further information is available in Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and Privacy Portal.

6. Your consent and choices

For visitors in France and other regions where prior consent is required, MPC uses Shopify’s cookie banner and preference centre.

You can:

- Accept optional Cookies;

- Decline optional Cookies; or

- Use Manage preferences to choose separately between Personalization, Marketing and Analytics.

Optional categories are not selected by default. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie Preferences link available on the Website.

Refusing optional Cookies does not prevent access to the Website, although certain non-essential personalisation or measurement functions may be unavailable.

French data-protection rules require consent to be given before non-essential trackers are used, allow users to refuse as easily as they accept, and require withdrawal to remain easily accessible. Your current Shopify configuration follows that structure.

7. How long are Cookies kept?

Cookie lifetimes depend on their purpose and provider.

Some Cookies last only for the duration of a browsing session, while others remain for a defined period in order to remember preferences, measure activity or recognise a returning browser.

At present, the principal technologies used by MPC may have technical lifetimes ranging from a few minutes or the duration of a session to approximately:

  • one year for certain Shopify Cookies;
  • up to two years for certain Google Analytics Cookies;
  • approximately 90 days to 13 months for certain Google advertising technologies; and
  • up to one year for certain Pinterest technologies.

Actual durations may be shorter because of browser settings, consent withdrawal or changes made by the relevant provider.

MPC periodically reviews its Cookie configuration and refers users to the current Cookie documentation of Shopify, Google, Meta and Pinterest for the most up-to-date technical details.

The choices made through the consent mechanism may also be stored for a limited period so that the Website does not repeatedly ask for the same choice. The CNIL generally considers a period of around six months appropriate for remembering both acceptance and refusal.

8. Personal data and international transfers

Cookies and similar technologies may process information such as IP address, browser and device information, Website interactions, advertising identifiers, pages viewed and conversion events.

Some of MPC’s providers operate internationally. Personal data may therefore be processed outside France or the European Economic Area subject to the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

More information about the data processed, recipients, legal bases, international transfers, retention periods and your data-protection rights is available in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party information

For further information about the technologies currently used on the Website, please consult:

These providers may update their technologies and Cookie names independently of MPC.

10. Changes and contact

MPC may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the Website, technologies, providers or applicable law.

Where a new purpose legally requires consent, the relevant technology will not be used for that new purpose without obtaining the required consent.
