In 1949, Lord Selsdon and Luigi Chinetti triumphed at the wheel of the Ferrari 166MM no. 22, marking the start of a legendary saga.

Chinetti, taking advantage of his links with Enzo Ferrari, became the exclusive importer of the brand in the United States and founded the North American Racing Team (NART), which shined with the victory of the Ferrari 250 in the hands of Rindt/Gregory in 1965.

In 2023, Ferrari marks its triumphant and totally unexpected return for the 100th anniversary of this emblematic race, won by the AF Corse crew: Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi.
