  • Handwritten text (translated from French): "In 1952, at the instigation of Doctor Dubois, Senator and Mayor of La "Baule", and with the support of Hoteliers and shopkeepers, a brand new speed circuit was designed. The "La Baule Escoublac" circuit is 4.160 km long, with a straight line along the RN 771 and an 8 m wide track that forms an S shape on the "Escoublac" airfield before offering a series of small curves along the "Bois d'Amour". For the first GP. A Ferrari hat-trick! Winner Ascari, followed by Villérosi, and Louis Rosier".
