  • Porsche 917LH n°21: The Martini Missile of Le Mans 1971

    The Porsche 917LH Martini Racing n°21, piloted by Gérard Larrousse and Vic Elford, etched its legacy into French racing history during the 1971 24 Hours. With its iconic long tail (Langheck) aerodynamic design and striking Martini livery, this prototype embodied Porsche's relentless pursuit of top speed on the Mulsanne Straight.

    Despite not finishing the race, the 917LH demonstrated unmatched velocity, clocking over 386 km/h, a testament to Porsche’s engineering prowess in endurance racing. The duo of Larrousse and Elford, both seasoned Le Mans veterans, pushed the limits of the 917LH’s capabilities during one of the fastest editions ever.

    Today, chassis n°917-043 remains a symbol of aerodynamic innovation, racing passion, and Martini Racing heritage.

From the age of 7, when his grandmother offered him his first camera, Denis began to capture the world with a singular eye, guided by his lens and his emotions. Photography became his first language, refining his vision and nourishing his imagination. 

Inspired by his mother, an abstract painter, he explored the union between image and color, mixing his shots with painting and drawing to create a vibrant, eclectic, figurative universe. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, he has taken a new step by adopting digital technology: tablet and stylus become the natural extensions of his hand, making digital a playground for his different artistic styles. 

Motorsport enthusiast, Denis celebrates legendary drivers and machines under the name Le Muret des Stands, creating a series of intense works of art in which speed converses with nostalgia for the great hours of racing. Self-taught, he draws his inspiration from everything around him, today integrating 3D to give even greater depth and soul to his creations.
