SECTION 4. ORDERING PRODUCTS ON THE SITE
4.1 Product characteristics
MY PILOT COLLECTION commits to providing clear and easily understandable information about product characteristics and mandatory details required by law. This information, found on product sheets on the site, includes product description, materials, manufacturing processes, qualities, format, usage advice, maintenance conditions, and product price.
Products are presented in French and English, and a Customer’s lack of language skills cannot be cited as a reason for contract cancellation by European Community citizens (Directive 95/46/EC).
MY PILOT COLLECTION ensures disclosure of environmental qualities, waste-related information, and sorting rules when necessary. Customers are obligated to carefully read this information, including product warnings and instructions, before placing an Order. All products comply with current European legislation and applicable standards in France.
4.2 Order procedure
To place an order on the site, customers select their desired product(s) and quantities, adding them to the shopping basket. After verifying the order details, including quantity, characteristics, and references, Customers can click on “proceed to payment”. Upon identification or registration, an online form auto-completes (or not) with personal information (contact details, delivery address, payment information). After a final check and choosing their preferred delivery method, customers pay using their chosen method, meaning also they accept the delivery time and mean indicated and agree with our Delivery Policy.
Once the order is complete, the site acknowledges receipt, and a confirmation email is sent to the Customer, which can be retained and printed. During the order process, customers enter billing information, including mandatory fields indicated by (*). Neither the order form drawn up by the Customer online, nor the preparation form received in the parcel, constitutes an invoice. The invoice is sent by email and accessible in the customer's account, regardless of the order or payment method used.
The date of the Order is the date on which MY PILOT COLLECTION acknowledges online receipt of the Order. The processing times indicated on the Site only begin to run from this date.
In the event that the Customer places an Order, on behalf of MY PILOT COLLECTION, directly to one of its Partners, the Customer’s Order will be framed by the General Terms of Sales of its Partner.
4.3 Prices
All product Prices on the site are in euros. The Customer has the possibility to change the currency displayed through the Site. However, this is an automatic feature provided by MY PILOT COLLECTION website, independent of its control. If the Customer buy any Product, in another currency than euros, MY PILOT COLLECTION may request, after the Customer’s Order, an additional payment based on the correct exchange rate.
Product prices may be modified at any time by the company, with the exception of any sale of a product concluded for the price displayed on www.mypilotcollection.com.
Prices don’t incorporate the Value Added Tax (VAT) at the Order date's applicable rate.
All types of delivery fees are not necessarily included in the Prices. The cost of delivery will be specified on the payment page before the Order is confirmed by the Client. In the event of delivery of products outside French territory, customs taxes and formalities are the sole responsibility of the Customer, unless otherwise indicated. In this case, the Customer undertakes to check whether the products ordered can be imported into the territory of the country of delivery.
Prices are valid, barring major errors, with the order placed determining the applicable price on the site.
If one or more taxes or contributions, in particular environmental taxes, are created or modified, either upwards or downwards, this change may be passed on to the sale price of the Products on the Website, even post Order.
4.4 Product availability
MY PILOT COLLECTION commits to make sure that all Product’s stocks are always up to date on the Site. However, the possibility of buying a Product on the Site doesn’t necessarily mean that the Product is in stock. The Customer is strongly advised to always check all the information displayed on the Product’s advertisement, where a disclaimer about Product unavailability or on-demand production necessary is always clearly indicated for the Products in question.
If unavailability was not indicated during the order, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. In such a case, MY PILOT COLLECTION may propose an alternative Product of equal quality and price, subject to customer acceptance. If the customer opts to cancel the order, reimbursement for the unavailable products is made within fourteen (14) days from the day he/she asked for the Order’s cancellation.
4.5 Proof and archiving
Orders exceeding 120 euros, including VAT, will be archived by MY PILOT COLLECTION for ten (10) years as required by the French Consumer Code (Article L. 213-1). This archival ensures transaction monitoring and enables MY PILOT COLLECTION to provide a contract copy upon customer request. In case of litigation, MY PILOT COLLECTION can demonstrate the reliability of its electronic tracking system, ensuring transaction integrity.

If payment is refused, the customer must contact MY PILOT COLLECTION's Customer Service at contact@mypilotcollection.com for alternative payment methods. Any obstacles to money flow lead to order cancellation and automatic termination of the sale.
MY PILOT COLLECTION retains ownership of delivered products until full payment is received. Despite this, the customer assumes the risks of loss, damage, or any associated liabilities upon physical possession of the Product by themselves or a designated third party. If a carrier different from MY PILOT COLLECTION's proposal is used, the customer bears the risk of loss or damage upon product handover to the carrier.

In the event of non-conformity of the Product, observed within two (2) years of receipt, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, and not the date of its appearance. In such a case, the Consumer Customer may benefit from :
1) The repair or replacement of the non-compliant Product;
Consequences:
- Prior to anything, the Customer must contact MY PILOT COLLECTION by email at contact@mypilotcollection.com.
- He/She must carefully follow the instructions provided and return the Product(s) covered by the legal guarantee of conformity to the return address communicated by MY PILOT COLLECTION, within the time limits stipulated by law.
- The Client will be notified by MY PILOT COLLECTION upon receipt of the Product and will then have a period of three (3) working days to verify that the Product complies with all of the eligibility conditions set forth in our Returns Policy and to ascertain the existence of one or more non-conformities.

- If repaired, a six-month extension is granted. If replaced, the warranty renews for two years. Any period of immobilisation of the goods with a view to their repair or replacement suspends the warranty that was in force until delivery of the repaired goods.
2) A reduction of the price of the Product, or a cancelation of the Sales Contract and Return of the Product, if:
- The professional refuses to repair or replace the Product;
- The repairing or replacing delay of the Product is too long (at least superior to thirty (30) days);
- The repair or replacement of the Product causes a major inconvenience for the Consumer (he has to bear the cost of taking back or removing the non-conforming Product, he bears the cost of installing the repaired or replacement good …);
- The non-conformity of the good persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.
Consequences: From the date of such demands received in writing, MY PILOT COLLECTION will have fourteen (14) working days to refund the amount of the reduction to the Customer or (30) days to refund the full price of the Product to the Customer.
The consumer is not entitled to have the sale rescinded if the lack of conformity is minor. Termination of the Sales Contract is possible in severe cases without prior repair or replacement requests.
For continuous digital services over two years, the warranty applies throughout the supply period.
If the Product in question has been personalized and/or made on demand, or if the purchase took place at a fair, trade show, in a physical boutique and similar places, the Product cannot be returned or refunded in full.
MY PILOT COLLECTION can not be held liable for any lack of conformity of a Product that he is only the distributor, and has not been fabricated or created by itself.

The relationship between the customer and MY PILOT COLLECTION is governed by French law, and in case of a dispute, French courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
Before legal action, customers should contact in writing MY PILOT COLLECTION's complaints department for resolution attempts at contact@mypilotcollection.com.
