  • About the Jaguar D-Type : the machine born for Le Mans

    Designed exclusively for racing, the Jaguar D-Type was launched in 1954 and marked a technical revolution: aeronautically inspired monocoque, sharpened aerodynamics and the now iconic rear stabilizer fin. Powered by the famous XK 6-cylinder engine, it achieved straight-line speeds of up to 290 km/h - a feat for its time.

    It won three consecutive Le Mans 24 Hours (1955, 1956, 1957), crushing the competition with its reliability and formidable efficiency. The “long nose” version, developed for high speeds, reinforced its mythical status. Produced in just 71 examples, some of which were converted into XKSSs for road use, it became an absolute grail for collectors.

    Bought by racing driver Duncan Hamilton or driven by Mike Hawthorn, the D-Type combines purity of line with sporting glory, making it one of the most desirable Jaguars of all time.

About the craftsman.

The cabinetmaker who carves wood into the bodywork of legends

The craftsman shapes wood in the same way that others restore classic cars: with precision, uncompromising attention to detail and an immense tenderness for timeless forms.

Son of a craftsman, he discovered the world of wood at a very early age in his father's workshop, where he developed a passion for the material and learned to understand and respect it. With a joiner's CAP and cabinetmaker's CAP in his pocket, he became an accomplished craftsman, renowned for his expertise.

In 2020, he founded his company to bring together his two passions: wood and cars. Bugatti, Porsche, Chevrolet, Ford, Jaguar, Delahaye, Maserati ... His collection of automotive décorations & art furniture, limited edition pieces in solid wood, leather and metal, are entirely handcrafted in France, from the initial sketch to the final prototype.

It results in a style that is retro, noble and daring, transforming each piece of furniture & automotive decorations into a one-of-a-kind automotive collectible.
