    First unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1933, the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic is one of the rarest and most sought-after cars in the world. True icon of French automotive design, it is envied by the greatest collectors and exhibited in the most prestigious automobile museums.

    Combining mechanical excellence and bold styling, this elite all-round sports car is powered by a Bugatti in-line 8-cylinder engine with double overhead camshafts, developing around 140 bhp - a peak of performance for its time. Designed for exclusivity and speed, it set new speed records, offering an unrivalled driving experience for a prestige Grand Tourer.

    Only four examples were ever built, and one of them mysteriously disappeared during the Second World War, fuelling the legend of the ‘Holy Grail of automobiles’. The remaining examples are among the most expensive cars ever sold, fetching values in excess of 40 million dollars, and are kept in the most prestigious collections, including that of Ralph Lauren.

About the artist.

From ancestral know-how to an elite journey

Born in 1975 and descended from a line of bodywork craftsmen, the creator of this automotive sculpture in solid mahogany has always worked the material with passion, sculpting wood with the same precision as his ancestors worked metal.

Graduated from the École Boulle, his talent was recognised very early on, and in 1995 he was awarded the Oscar for Contemporary Creation for his excellence in exceptional craftsmanship.

His love of legendary automobiles, coupled with his family's expertise, naturally led him to revisit some of the most iconic models in automotive history: the Lamborghini Miura, the Ferrari F40, the Porsche 356, the MG A Type, the Bugatti Atlantic, the Aston Martin DB5, the Citroën DS 19 ...

The result is the "Epures" collection, in which each creation becomes a tribute to the elegance and performance of these classic cars. Each handcrafted sculpture is signed by the artist on a plate discreetly integrated beneath the work and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing its origin and value over time.
