Dino & F12 Reflections in Paris' Grand Palais

From Maranello to Paris - Dinos and Berlinetta at the Grand Palais during the Tour Auto

Painted from a personal photograph from the automotive painter taken during the 2018 Tour Auto, this original and unique (1/1) automotive oil on canvas is a tribute to the lineage of Maranello - captured beneath the architectural poetry of the Grand Palais’s iconic glass dome in Paris.

In the foreground, two Ferrari Dino 246 GTs - one red, one grey - with their sensual curves and racing spirit, reflect with elegance the lines of the Grande Verrière. Just behind them, the F12 Berlinetta stands as a modern heir to the Ferrari house: muscular, sculpted, and unapologetically contemporary. In the blurred background, a mysterious silhouette with an open trunk invites the viewer to take a guess about the third thoroughbred represented.

Magnified by the oil painting technique, the automotive artist breathes life into steel and light - reflections shimmer, chrome catches the dome’s glow, and bodywork becomes sculpture. The moment is both vibrant and suspended : a quiet conversation between generations. One can almost imagine Enzo Ferrari himself passing silently through the Grand Palais, pausing to witness his legacy - static, yet powerfully alive.

For collectors of Italian Prancing Horses and connoisseurs of the legendary Tour Auto, this automotive artwork belongs where passion lives - in a collector’s salon, a gentleman driver’s office, or among the rare objects private Ferrari collection.

For exhibition, collection, or legacy - gift this Dino & Berlinetta at the Grand Palais oil canvas to a gentleman driver who once raced across France behind the wheel of a Prancing Horse - and keeps still the best memories about it.

  • Dino to Berlinetta: A Dialogue of Speed Across Eras

The Ferrari Dino 246 GT, introduced in 1969, was Ferrari’s first road car with a mid-engine V6 - and notably the first not to wear the Prancing Horse badge, honoring Enzo Ferrari’s late son, Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari. Its Pininfarina design and exceptional handling made it a favorite among purists, and today it’s one of the most sought-after “baby Ferraris” in collector circles.

Meanwhile, the F12 Berlinetta, launched in 2012, marked a return to front-engine V12 Grand Tourers, replacing the 599 GTB. With 740 horsepower and a 0–100 km/h time under 3.1 seconds, it was Ferrari’s most powerful road car at launch. The F12’s design by Flavio Manzoni blends aerodynamic function with sculptural aggression - and its naturally aspirated V12 is now seen as the end of an era.

From hand-built Dino craftsmanship to the F12’s high-tech dominance, both models represent key turning points in Ferrari’s evolution. For collectors, owning both is more than acquiring cars - it’s collecting philosophy, bloodline, and beauty.

About the Artist.

The artist-designer who paints the soul of cars

The artist fell in love with cars while sitting on his father's shoulders, mesmerised by the racing cars of the Critérium des Cévennes. Inspired by Michel Vaillant from an early age, he associated drawing with speed: drawing a car meant already bringing it to life.

Educated at ENSAAMA and then at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris, he realized his dream by joining the Peugeot Style Centre in 1990. There, he refined his rigour for lines, elegant curves, precise & accurate detail. But it is in painting that he expresses his inner freedom, in a boundless universe.

The painter swapped his tablet for canvas and explored a wide range of techniques - watercolour, acrylic, oil, ink - with an unwavering passion for the curves of the Prancing Horse. His brushstrokes are fluid, spontaneous, almost choreographed. Each artwork becomes a "hand-to-hand connexion with the canvas", a scene in motion, vibrant with emotion, spontaneity and speed - his artistic signature, recognizable among thousands.
